As a spiritual coach I help individuals explore and understand who and what they are from a spiritual perspective and how this relates to their overall well-being. I work with individuals to help them develop a deeper understanding of their purpose, values, and beliefs, and how they can align with these to live a more fulfilling life. Often this work requires an unlearning or unraveling of stale belief systems or belief systems that are no longer serving the individual.
I spent more than seven years in pastoral counseling. I spent nearly twenty years of my life in ministry. I have moved from a place of mainstream religion and dogma into a place that is more centered on acceptance, existing, being, experiencing, and living from a place of self-actualization, introspection, self love and acceptance. Much of my experience with religion brought fear, anxiety, and separation. I have realized that we have never been separate from the source of creation and that we are loved, valued, and accepted.
As a spiritual coach I use a variety of techniques, such as meditation, shamanic journeys, journaling, and visualization, to help clients connect with their inner selves and access their inner wisdom. We may also use tools such as tarot cards or psychic intuition to help clients gain insight into their spiritual journey.
Religion teaches us that we are dirty and cannot trust ourselves. It teaches us that we need something or someone outside of ourselves to make us whole or give us purpose. This framework keeps us stuck as we are not encouraged to look inside. We are not encouraged to ask the tough questions about our behaviors and the outcomes produced. Radical transformation and transcendence begins on the inside and works its way out. The way out of whatever you are struggling with is in. The answer is found inside of you.
The way out is in

Spiritual coaching is different from a religious counselor or therapist, who may focus on a specific religious traditions or doctrine. Instead, I take a more holistic, open-minded approach, drawing on a variety of spiritual practices and beliefs to help clients find their own path.
I also work with clients on specific issues, such as grief, loss, or relationship issues, and help them integrate spiritual principles and practices into their healing process. I help clients develop spiritual practices that are tailored to their needs, such as daily meditation, yoga, or other forms of spiritual exercise.
It’s important to note that spiritual coaching is not therapy or counseling, and spiritual coaches do not diagnose or treat mental health conditions. We help individuals understand how their spirituality can be related to their well-being and how they can use it to create a better life.
The goal of spiritual coaching is to help individuals tap into their inner wisdom and develop a deeper understanding of themselves and their place in the world. It can be a powerful tool for personal growth, self-discovery and self-actualization.
